We all receive invoices in the mail, it’s normal business practice. What we need to be is vigilant about which ones we pay. When a reasonable enough request for an unreasonable sum of money comes your way, be suspicious. Two separate clients this week received the same bogus notification to cough up $1300+ in order to safeguard their business trademark. Upon closer inspection we were able to determine that these were, indeed, unscrupulous attempts at *trying it on*. Before you feel tempted to part with your $$$s, be aware of the scams that abound to collect payment under false pretences, or the phishing schemes that feed off your confidential information and can seriously harm the integrity of your business. Remember, your business is none of theirs...unless you choose to make it so. If in doubt, contact us for an evaluation of your particular situation.

Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Wills & Estates

Chris is the feature speaker at the "Round TUIT Night" being held Tuesday, October 28 at St. Andrew's United Church, 9025 Glover Road in Ft. Langley. Join us for a discussion around why you should have a Will and how it affects your Estate if you "pass on" without one.

The bottom line is: you can pay a little bit now, or a lot later on...

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!

We would like to acknowledge everyone who dropped by our booth this weekend at the West Coast Women's Show. We didn't collect nearly as many lawyer jokes as we'd hoped, but nevertheless we had a great time meeting all of you; thanks again for dropping by!
